Zentangle Inspired Art on Colored Paper.
The Zentangle Method is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns. We call these patterns, tangles. You create tangles with combinations of dots, lines, simple curves, S-curves and orbs. Instructions are given in a step-by-step method that makes it easy to learn and to remember. And it’s fun to learn and do!
In this workshop you will create a background of beautiful color using watercolors and then use your Zentangle skills to create art on your paper!
This takes your Tangling skills to the NEXT LEVEL! (No worries if you’re new to Zentangle – all are welcome (12 and up), no experience required!)

WHAT TO BRING:
- Watercolor paints (a set of paints or watercolor markers, or tubes of watercolors)
- Basic Zentangle kit: black pen, graphite pencil, tortillion (paper smudger), white chalk pencil, if you have one. (These can be purchased from the instructor on the day for $10)
- Wear clothing that you don’t mind getting paint splatters - these paints wash out, anyway. Shiny Squirrel does have aprons to use, too.
All other supplies will be provided by the instructor.
Minimum of 4 students registered by 7/12/22 for the class to be a go.
Outside food and drinks are allowed.
